The ancient Greeks believed that the arts and sciences were all inspired by the Muses. These goddesses were the 9 daughters of Zeus and Mnemosyne who was memory personified. It is said that the works of art or scientific breakthroughs that they helped give birth to, would be remembered throughout time thanks to their mother’s gift.

 

 

I agree that the ancient Greeks left behind, a great many gifts but inspiration did not die with them. All around us there are people who can help create amazing things. You can inspire great moments. You can make a memory that captures an emotion. You can embody the spirit of the muses and be the influence for creativity. You too, can be a muse.
